Bjorn Fortuin has been selected T20I captain of South Africa’s 15-man squad for their white-ball tour to Namibia. Eathan Bosch, Connor Esterhuizen, Jordan Hermann, and Nqobani Mokoena are among the uncapped choices for the forthcoming T20I and ODI assignments, while Duan Jansen receives his first international call-up.
After leading the Titans to the 50-over title with a match-winning undefeated 61 in the final against the DP World Lions, the 26-year-old was named Division 1 One Day Cup Player of the Year for the 2025–2026 season. He performed consistently in both white-ball formats.
The other uncapped T20I player in the squad is his Titans teammate and all-rounder Eathan Bosch, while Hollywoodbets Dolphins seamer Nqobani Mokoena and batters Connor Esterhuizen (Lions) and Jordan Hermann (Dafabet Warriors) have been called up for the first time.
The Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek will host the T20I tri-series, which also includes Zimbabwe, from August 28 to September 6, 2026. Soon after, on September 9–13, 2026, South Africa and Namibia will play a three-match ODI series at the same location. The first bilateral 50-over series between the two countries is the ODI series.
